Sara has been a performer and acting teacher for over 25 years with over 20 screen and 50 professional stage credits to her name. Screen credits include Rosehaven (ABC), The Kettering Incident (Foxtel/BBC), My Place - Series 2 (ABC2), Fanshaw and Crudnut - the telemovie, Pixel Pinkie (Channel 9), Buzz Bumble (Channel GO!), Arctic Blast, My Brother Jack (Channel 10), Noirhouse (ABC iview). Stage credits include Terrapin’s internationally award winning Explosion Therapy (Shanghai and Perth), Dream Masons (SAC), The Berry Man (TTC), It’s Partly about Love- It’s Partly about Massacre (TTC), multiple garden shows for Big Monkey Inc., and the World Premiere of Tom Holloway’s Beyond the Neck (Tasmania Performs).
Sara has trained with renowned international teachers including Phillipe Gaulier (France), John Bolton, and top Hollywood acting coach, Ivana Chubbuck (L.A.). Sara was nominated for Best Actress at The 2015 Errols for her performance in Tasmanian Theatre Company’s The Berry Man, and in 2015 won 'Most Outstanding Actress' and 'Best Actor in a Dramedy' at the Rome WebAwards for the locally produced Noirhouse (ABC iview).
Sara is the Director of Cooper Screen Academy, providing training and international opportunities for Tasmanians from Grade 3 to Adult.
